In May, 2014, the most expensive restaurant in the world opened in Ibiza’s Hard Rock Hotel.

The two-Michelin starred chef, Paco Roncero, heads the exclusive dining venue that offers a ‘unique experience that transcends gastronomy’ to the lucky dining guests.

Sublimotion is officially the most expensive restaurant in the world and it promises that the meal will be “emotional,” with “unexpected twists” that incite “humor, pleasure, fear, reflection, and nostalgia.”

At €1,200 you get 20 courses, self-mixing cocktails, stunning projections and a pillow of nitrogenised olive oil.
